Within the scope of the eleventh edition, the formdrei team realized more than 110 trade fair appearances. In addition to many standard booth types, this year again, individual stands were included.
The fact that formdrei is also a strong team outside of the exhibition centers was again demonstrated at two major sporting events.
On 24th June 2017 we started with a strong team at the synthetic turf foodball ground of the Tönnies-Arena. There, the FAMAB Soccer Cup was held for the third time. After we could win the first six games, we failed in the semifinals just in the nine metre shooting and had finally to be satisfied with a good fourth place.
Four days later, our 8-member running team, together with more than 1.500 sporting aces, completed the Schüco Sports company-run. Exhausted but undamaged, we finished after 4.8 km with 110 other companies, including many customers and suppliers.
In the era of globalization, digital media are increasingly replacing classic print media. Therefore also the medium of daily newspaper is being more and more pushed into the background.
As a key to education, however, reading is still essential today. Daily newspapers in particular have a considerable amount of information and create a regional reference. In order to provide a clear signal for print products and to show the advantages of the medium newspaper, formdrei enables pupils of the primary school in Brake the daily reading of the newspaper since May 2017.
Through an annual subscription to a regional daily newspaper, children are introduced early to the newspaper medium, which actively promotes general education and literacy.
Im Zeitalter der Globalisierung verdrängen digitale Medien zunehmend klassische Printmedien. Dadurch wird u.a. auch das Medium Tageszeitung immer mehr in den Hintergrund gerückt.
Als Schlüssel zur Bildung ist das Lesen jedoch auch heute noch unerlässlich. Insbesondere Tageszeitungen weisen eine beachtliche Informationsfülle auf und schaffen einen regionalen Bezug. Um ein klares Zeichen für Printprodukte zu setzen und die Vorteile des Mediums Zeitung aufzuzeigen, ermöglicht formdrei seit Mai 2017 Schülerinnen und Schüler der Grundschule Brake die tägliche Lektüre Tageszeitung.
Durch ein Jahresabonnement einer regionalen Tageszeitung werden Kinder schon früh an das Medium Zeitung herangeführt, wodurch wir aktiv die Allgemeinbildung und Lesekompetenz fördern.

After the successful K 2013 we again gave full throttle at the world leading trade fair of the plastics industry and realized more than 1,000 sq m of trade fair appearances for well over a dozen national and international customers. In addition to two double-storey booths for our longtime customers Albis and Rapid, we built eleven further stands in various sizes and types.
In addition, we designed over 1,000 sq m of floor space for a large number of existing customers as well as our new customers "BG Verkehr" at automechanika, FachPack, InnoTrans, IAA Nutzfahrzeuge and the MOW.
On 29th June the formdrei 9-member Running Community participated at the Schüco company run for first time around the Schüco Arena and completed the big run over 4.8 km. Together with more than 1,600 sporting aces from over 100 companies in the region - including many customers and suppliers - the team of formdrei finished exhausted but unharmed.
And also the time is really not bad: In the team score formdrei finished in the top third. All participants are already looking forward to next year and hope to have an increase of the team.
Before July and August there aren’t many fairs we had a lot to do - regionally, nationally and internationally: At the ABK Open in Halle/ Westphalia we designed booths with around 2,200 m² for more than 70 exhibitors and showed once more our great skills as a general outfitter.
At Texcare in Frankfurt, we advised our clients Multimatic and the first time our new customer Polytex. In addition, we again put into practice more than 3,000 m² of comprehensive Kannegiesser brand world - a harmonious mix of product presentation and communication in a lounge-like environment.
In Munich, we implemented five booths at IFAT - including for the first time the joint stand of the State of Hesse in the new look. Further exhibition stands we built at drupa in Düsseldorf and at CeMAT in Hannover and supervised our longtime customers Welland & Tuxhorn at the POWER-GEN in Milan.
Our colorful containers also came back into use: During the DLG Field Days the brand world of our customer 365FarmNet developed at the field in Haßfurt.
At the end of May it was time for our trip to the climbing park in Detmold. 17 brave colleagues were up for the challenge in the lofty heights of the Teutoburg Forest.
After a briefing on the safety regulations we were ready to explore the trails of varying difficulty in teams of two or three people. With the help of ropes, cables, bridges, platforms and zip lines we had to move from one tree to the other. Here team spirit was needed, because many obstacles took some overcoming and " You can do it!" - motivation of colleagues.
The most courageous people have even faced the black route and climbed in 14 metres height! Respect!
All colleagues had much fun and safely landed on the ground again. During the following barbecue we could exchange our experiences and finished off the eventful day.
With a wide range of industry 4.0 topics and the USA being the partner country, Hannover Messe could attract a large number of visitors as the world's most important industrial goods exhibition this year. More than 5.200 national and international exhibitors presented their products and technologies related to an increasingly digitized and networked industry.
We were also able to contribute our part to the fair success by again realizing a half-dozen booths on more than 550 sqm this year. The satisfaction of our customers in terms of their stand and the exhibition as a whole also satisfies us. Already now we are eagerly looking forward to anticipating a similarly successful Hannover Messe next year..
